Taito Vewlix¶
The reference modern LCD cabinet (2007): built for the Taito Type X2 and the Street Fighter IV / BlazBlue era, the Vewlix is the widescreen candy cab of 2010s fighting games. A 32″ 16:9 LCD, glossy-black look.

Technical notes¶
- 32″ LCD (no more CRT) → perfect for the 31 kHz / HD of arcade PCs (Type X2/X3, NESiCAxLive). The Vewlix button layout became a worldwide standard (copied by many fightsticks and bartops).
- JVS I/O: connected to an arcade PC (Type X) via a JVS I/O board + dongle/NESiCA.

Why it matters
The Vewlix set modern versus ergonomics (screen distance, panel angle, button layout). It's the tournament cabinet for SF4/SFV/BlazBlue.

Repair & modern use¶
